Dahn Yoga Helps to Put Your Life Together Again

imageDoctors say that they can treat only 20% of the problems that patients bring to them. As for the other 80%, in most cases, the problems can be traced to excessive stress. This all-too-common aspect of modern life causes a profusion of physical and emotional conditions. High stress is likely to be involved in contributing to the 20% that doctors can treat.

The Working Man’s Business Suit

imageWhen you plan on going to the office knowing this is the day for getting down and dirty, then dress appropriately, select a suit constructed to endure the rigors of everyday uses and keep the luxury brand for special meetings. The name on Australian and New Zealand businessman shoulders is Studio Italia, the choice is yours, SI for slim fit like the 50’s or classical styles. Value; 100% Australian Marino wool, the best wool in the world, if you don’t believe it, then ask yourself why is it the number one choice wool for Armani, Hugo Boss and Zegna? Of course there are different grades. Boss insist on Virgin Marino, which simply means the first cut, because it’s the softness and most pliable. The SI uses super 120’s which is minus 60 of the highest grade. The suits are designed and specified by a long line of family tailors, the experts know how to construct suiting, cutting corners without compromising quality, with in a given price point. Wok it out, for $599,00 you can pick out a classically styled black pin stripe suit with two pairs of trousers and a guaranteed fit. In fact 3 out of 10 men can walk out with minimal alterations, mostly trouser leg adjustments and waist in or out, but rarely any changes to the jacket, this is way above industry averages. So when its time to roll up the sleeves and get to the photocopier, in and out of the heat and cold for meetings all over town, slinging the jacket off and on, lunching, then a few more meetings, trudging back and forth to the tea room. The secretary is off sick, so you have to do your own messaging, rustling through filing cabinets, fosiking through reception desk trying to find your diary. The Studio gets knocked around, but it’s designed to do just that and fresh and crisp. Of course this is not the only brand that produces general purpose work suits, but it is by far the best seller, and customers keep coming back for the same, ignoring other brands of similar price, so there must be something in it. To be fair the closest rival is a fabulous fitting suit from another great Aussie maker, catchy little name with a big meaning, the 1096 by Anthony Squires (Allah Stafford Ellison), at the same price as the Studio, $599, 00 with two pairs of trousers. The big difference is this one is 80% Marino, 20% polyester, inherently resilient. And to be even fairer the trousers are the best fit, in fact in all my suit wearing years they are the best fit. Lean and clean around the front, back and thigh, and, slightly tapered, so they sit attractively on the shoe adding extension to a tall or stout mans frame. The body hugging jacket compliments any portly shape. One more 1096 value add, is a unique 3 year and one day warranty, this says a lot about confidence of make. Jokingly I’ve heard, so on the second day after three years the sleeves fall off and the suit self destructs. Seriously, this is the only suit that challenges Studios position, but the designers need to get more range on the racks than the black and grey choices. The founder of Studio Italia Joseph Cohen, whose entrepreneurial flair and spirit is found resonating through the fourth generation family enterprise, founded Berkeley Apparel in 1907. Joseph Cohen was a foresighted Polish Immigrant whom undertook his tailoring training in the West-End of London, his philosophy of quality and style are the hallmarks of the company’s products. The family philosophy is the search for the finest quality, quality of life, quality relationships with staff and customers and the continuous search for innovative products. Technology transfers and capital investment transfer has enabled Berkeley Apparel to shift its emphasis from manufacturing to importing high value brands. Now when are they going to realise the value of accessories, a handsome collection of designer silk ties and compliment with silver or enamel cufflinks, close off the collection with some fine Napa leather wallets.

San Jose Hotels: Proving Progress For a City

imageSan Jose is the third largest city in California. It is located in the Santa Clara Valley at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay area. The “Capital of Silicon Valley” became its nickname. This is when a large development of high-technology computers, microprocessors, and engineering companies settled down in this region. Together with the rise of big companies and schools around the city, many hotels had been built surrounding it in order to accommodate the rising number of tourists.

San Jose is the third largest city in California. It is located in the Santa Clara Valley at the southern end of the San Francisco Bay area. The “Capital of Silicon Valley” became its nickname. This is when a large development of high-technology computers, microprocessors, and engineering companies settled down in this region. With a total of area 178.2 square miles (461.5 km²), it is originally known as El Pueblo de San José de Guadalupe, in honor of Saint Joseph.

Moreover, San Jose experienced earthquake activities along the areas that fall under and near the San Andres Fault. It also has a Mediterranean climate, which is similar to most areas near the bay area. Three sided mountain shelters within the city make it more semi-arid in its environment.

Historically, San Jose was inhibited by groups of Ohlone Native Americans. In 1769, the Europeans began with a series of Franciscan missionaries. In fact, San Jose was founded as the first town in the Spanish colony of Nueva California. This was on November 29Th of the year 1777. It was made possible by a certain Lieutenant José Joaquín Moraga. By the year 1825, San Jose was ruled by Mexicans and became part of the United States. This was after surrendering on stipulated terms in the year 1846. It also supports military installations at Monterey and San Francisco, which were farming communities. Thus, between the 1960s and the 1990s; it became a magnet for suburban neophytes, particularly in new housing developments.

Hence, San Jose served as its first capital when California gained statehood in the year 1850. During 1970s, there was a growth in businesses. Hence, after four decades of fast developments and growth in population, it became the third most populous city in California. San Jose shifted from agriculture to industrial manufacturing as the World War II started. In 1943, IBM established the West Coast headquarters and opened its doors for research and developmental facilities.

Aside from this, a rapid heightening of technological industry was gained by San Jose in the year 1990. By then, Silicon Valley gave more economic and population expansion which led to an increase in housing costs. This is along with the highest rating of 93.6% between the years 1976 up to 2001. San Jose also got the highest median household income as compared to any other city, with over 300,000 residents by year 2000.

The cost of living in San Jose became high when the 25 companies began expanding. This included:
• Flextronics
• Adobe Systems
• Cisco
• Hewlett-Packard
• BEA Systems
• eBay
• IBM
• Lockheed Martin
• Hitachi. U.S. – invested and received about thirty-five percent of all venture capital funds at San Jose. This is along with Silicon Valley companies.

There are several federal and state agencies settling in San Jose, even courthouses. It also houses schools like:
• San José State University Stanford University
• University of California
• Berkeley
• Santa Clara University – specializes on computer and engineering courses.

San Jose also became one of the safest large cities in the United States, along with a population of 989,496 as of January 2008. Furthermore, San Jose continually attracts tourists and more hotels now, offering great accommodations that would fit ones relaxing moments.

Harriet Hayes fan video

Everything and anything you want to know on Harriet. clips of Harriet explaining her past and clips of good lines. I hope you like it, Harriet is one of my favorite characters. Song is ‘With You’ by Jessica Simpson, it doesn’t really represent her but I couldn’t find anything. The video includes the Marriet kiss, why? Because any video that has to do with Harriet isn’t complete without the Marriet kiss.

Frasier (Season 3) DVD Review

imageOne of the most celebrated TV series of its time, Frasier follows the life of the popular Cheers character, Dr. Frasier Crane. The entire course of the show usually takes place in three settings: Frasier’s radio studio where he works alongside producer Roz Doyle (Peri Gilpin), Frasier’s high-rise apartment, and Café Nervosa, a favorite java hangout for Niles and Frasier. A witty and clever examination of America’s clash of cultures (also exemplified by Frasier’s recurrent interaction with radio sports host Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe), Frasier stands above the crowd as one of the most consistently well-written shows in TV history.
